Charring brings out the grain and gives the boards their distinctive carbonised surface. We agree the level of charring and final finish around the application and the desired result.
Timber boards charred using the Shou Sugi Ban method, with a deep, expressive wood surface. On request, we can also treat them with oil, finish them with hardwax oil, or paint them with our own linseed paints.
