An oak-shingle grill gazebo

Our task was to roof an existing grill gazebo. Built from ash on a regular sixteen-sided plan, it needed a material that could follow the curve.

We chose oak and 30 cm shingles. Laying them around the arc reduced the amount of flashing and let the roof keep its clear geometry.
